The LIGHTHOUSE Food Pantry at Radiant Community Church, located at 446 Market Street Perth Amboy, New Jersey now serves 250 families monthly! Food is distributed on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10:30am-1pm.

- Wednesdays, 10:30am -1pm
- Fridays, 3pm- 5pm
Our Clients
These are often underemployed hard-working adults, veterans, families with children, and seniors who simply cannot make ends meet and who go without food for several meals, or sometimes several days at a time. These people are your friends and neighbors. Some have lost jobs, others are retired and are victims of the current national economy. They are of all nationalities and ethnic backgrounds, but they all have one thing in common, they don’t have the resources to buy the food they need to survive.
Client Requirements
Valid Identification Card:
- Valid New Jersey NJMVC Drivers License or State issued Identification card.
- ITIN Identification card.
- Military Identification card.
- Birth certificates of household members below the age of 18 years old from the United States or Foreign Country.
- Newborns: Hospital Certificate for newborn babies (6 months or younger)
You must provide proof of residency:
- A utility bill from the last 30 days showing applicant name and address
- Current Lease or Deed of Residence.
- Military Identification card.
- Families permitted to come two times a month or any other “We Care” Perth Amboy Coalition Food Pantry.

You will not be turned away if you visit without an I.D., but you should make a habit of bringing it just in case. We have guidelines to follow, and insisting upon clients providing a photo I.D. is one of them. Help us follow the rules and we can continue helping everyone!
